Asamoah Gyan went through a full cycle of emotions during Ghana's epic 3-2 victory over South Korea at the Education City Stadium on Monday, November 28.
Gyan, who is on punditry duties with South African-based pay-TV network SuperSport, sat on tenterhooks as he watched his country see off a keenly-contested tie with South Korea.
The former Ghana striker, who holds the record as the highest-scoring African at the World Cup, was emotionally drained after the Black Stars picked up its first win of the 2022 Mundial in Qatar.
In a video posted on social media, sighted by Sports Brief, the former Sunderland striker - who recently turned 37 - was emotionally engrossed and went through a full cycle as Ghana threw away a two-nil lead, before fighting back to seal a 3-2 victory.

Gyan would hope for a less tense game involving his country of birth, in its third and final group encounter against Uruguay. He will have a keen interest in following the storied past involving the two nations.
Ghana pip South Korea
Mohammed Kudus scored twice as Ghana beat South Korea 3-2 in a pulsating World Cup encounter on Monday to keep their World Cup hopes alive and leave Paulo Bento's side facing an early exit.
Mohammed Salisu opened the scoring against the run of play midway through the first half at Education City Stadium and Ajax midfielder Kudus doubled the Black Stars' lead.
