Wayne Rooney has shared his feelings about Cristiano Ronaldo's Manchester United exit.
Ronaldo's contract at Old Trafford was terminated on Tuesday, November 22, paving the way for his premature departure from the club.

FootballThe Red Devils' drastic decision came just days after Ronaldo's explosive interview with Piers Morgan, where he aimed brutal comments at the club's top brass.
Wayne Rooney, a Man United legend who played alongside Ronaldo at one point, has now claimed that United had no other choice but to axe his former teammate.
According to the ex-England international, Ronaldo's sacking was no surprise as he had seen it coming.
"There was no other choice, but that's a shame because he's been a fantastic servant to the club," Rooney said via Daily Mail.
The DC United boss, who has had a war of words with the Portugal superstar recently, added that he wished CR7 the best on the next stage of his journey.
Meanwhile, it now remains to be seen where Ronaldo could move next, with the Portuguese star already in the twilight years of his career.
