Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence, following Manchester United's decision to terminate his Old Trafford contract.
United ripped apart Ronaldo's lucrative deal just days after his explosive interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.
The Portuguese star was in the final months of his deal with the Red Devils, having rejoined them in the summer of 2021 on a two-year deal.
The veteran forward was initially said to have pushed to depart Old Trafford in the summer with a year left on his contract.

While he was expected to see out the rest of his contract, that won't be the case after United resolved to part ways with him.
The former Real Madrid superstar has now said he is out to seek a new challenge following his exit from the Theatre of Dreams.
In a statement released by the Portuguese star, the 37-year-old maintained that he still has a strong affection for Man United and the fans.
"Following conversations with Manchester United, we have mutually agreed to end our contract early," he said via Metro UK.
Ronaldo mentioned his love of Manchester United and the fans, promising that affection would not fade.
"However, it feels like the right time for me to seek a new challenge. I wish the team every success for the remainder of the season and for the future."
