You can't get a beer at the stadiums in Qatar, but neither can you get samp and beans with meat.
Thats something Steve Komphela found out when he went looking for the South African delicacy.
The Mamelodi Sundowns coach took to Twitter to share a video of him meeting two South African chefs in Qatar. Komphela can be heard joking with the chefs, asking if they served samp and beans with meat.
Sadly for Bra Steve, they didn't have any.

Komphela had a brief chat with the duo about where they were from and their message to all South Africans back home before ending the video.
As reported by Times LIVE, Carol Tshabalala also ran into the chefs and gave them a shout-out on her Twitter account as she shared a photo with them.
'So good to see my South African brothers in charge of feeding us at the stadium. Chef Akhona Baleni and team, we’re proud of you," she said.
While there's no samp and beans with meat available, fans will be relieved to know that they can still get beer in Qatar.
While alcohol sales were banned at the stadium, fans can still get it at Fifa Fan Festivals, other fan destinations and licensed venues.

FootballFans will not be allowed to buy beers while watching any game at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after FIFA banned the sale of alcohol in stadiums for the duration of the tournament.
This decision from the world's football governing body comes just 48 hours before the tournament starts, through pressure applied by the Qatari kingdom's all-powerful royal family.
FIFA confirmed that alcoholic beverages would be confined to special 'fan zones' for those still willing to buy alcohol, but no sales in the stadiums would be allowed, Sports Brief reported.
