Romario has hailed the 30-year-old as a legend of the game already, despite the forward being constantly criticised back home by his countrymen.
According to Goal, Romario believes the time has come for Neymar to cement his legacy and silence any critics - by winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Brazil.

Meanwhile, Neymar will hope to surpass legend Pele as Brazil’s all-time goal scorer at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 30-year-old is just 3 goals shy of surpassing Pele’s 77-goal mark for Brazil. He is currently on 75 goals for the Brazilian senior national team in just 121 appearances, Sporting News reports.
Neymar will hope to add to his goal tally when Brazil face off against Serbia, Cameroon and Switzerland in the group stages of the competition.
