As reported by Sunday World, she was one of 20 people chosen to represent Africa at the World Cup after world football's governing body made the request.

She said to the publication:

“It feels good to be chosen because it shows that my hard work and passion for football is being recognised by FIFA. I am sure you have seen me at the stadium supporting Banyana Banyana, Bafana Bafana, the Proteas and Springboks – I am always colourful and work very hard.
“I am very disappointed that Bafana Bafana are not there. I feel sad because it feels like I will be supporting other supporters to support their nations. I support Senegal and Brazil; I can’t support Ghana – you know what happened, so my friends there [Ghana] will forgive me.”

Chauke is convinced that the Lions of Teranga will reach the quarter-finals, with the Black Stars, Cameroon, Tunisia and Morocco failing to get past the group stages.

Nigeria and former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi says PSL is not weak

As far as Daniel Akpeyi is concerned, there is nothing wrong with the standard of the Premier Soccer League.

The former Kaizer Chiefs shot-stopper and exiled Nigerian Super Eagles net-minder was responding to the reality that not one player playing their trade in the league will participate in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Akpeyi was the only player from the league at the last world cup tournament that was hosted by Russia.

2022 FIFA World Cup: Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo disturbed by the lack of PSL Players in Qatar

Not one player currently plying their trade in the Premier Soccer League will set foot in Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Richard Ofori, Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, was set to form part of Ghana's squad out in the Middle East but was forced to withdraw because of a late-hour injury. This has seen Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo place the albatross around the necks of the players locally.
