Samuel Eto'o joined the crowd in the Al Thumama stadium to support African champions Senegal during their opening game at the World Cup against the Netherlands.
The Cameroon Football Federation president has tipped all African countries to go through the next stage of the competition.
However, Senegal got off to a losing start after conceding two late goals to suffer defeat in their Group A opener.
In a photo posted on social media, Eto'o is seen in the jersey of Senegal as he backed the West African nation during the match.

Senegal have a chance to make it to the next stage of the competition if they are able to beat hosts Qatar and South Americans Ecuador.
Their next game is against Qatar on Friday November 25, before they round up their group with a clash against Ecuador.
The African champions lost talismanic forward Sadio Mane to injury before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
