Karim Benzema and Alexia Putellas have done it again.
The Real Madrid striker and the Barcelona Femeni attacker have scooped two more awards to add to their Ballon d'Or victories.
As reported by Daily Mail, Karim Benzema beat Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah to be crowned the Best Men's Player at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards.
It was the first time that the Frenchman won the title.

FootballPutellas, arguably the greatest female player, picked up the Best Women’s Player title at the awards evening, which took place days before the World Cup is due to get underway.
Putellas beat Arsenal and England forward Beth Mead to secure her second consecutive Globe Soccer Award. Both players were unavailable to receive their awards in person.
Benzema will now turn his attention to Qatar and the World Cup with France. The French attacker will be hoping to help Les Bleus defend their title and cap off an incredible few seasons for club and country.
There are concerns over his fitness though, with Football Espana reporting that Benzema is a doubt for the opening game of the tournament. France will begin their campaign with a game against Australia on Tuesday, November 22.
