Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has broken Asamoah Gyan's long-standing record of being the most capped player in the history of Ghana football.
Ayew surpassed Gyan's 109 appearances after starting in Ghana's final pre-World Cup friendly against Switzerland.
In a photo posted on social media, the 32-year-old was presented with a Ghana jersey bearing his latest number of appearances written on it.
Ayew inspired the Black Stars to victory against Switzerland on his 110th appearance for the national team.

The former Swansea star will be leading the team to the World Cup in Qatar, where Ghana will face Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
Ayew has already featured at two World Cups, playing at the 2010 and 2014 editions in South Africa and Brazil respectively.
Ghana will open her World Cup campaign with a game against 2016 European champions Portugal on November 24.
Ghana beat Switzerland in friendly
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that defender Mohammed Salisu and forward Antoine Semenyo scored their first goals for the Black Stars as Ghana beat Switzerland in their final friendly ahead of the World Cup.
Salisu's second half lofting header and Semenyo's powerful strike ensured the Black Stars leave for Qatar with their confidence boosted.
