Out-of-favour Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud could complete a two-year move to AC Milan this summer.
The French World Cup is not among the most preferred forwards at Stamford Bridge in spite of his conversion rate in front of the goal.
He scored 11 goals in 31 appearances across competitions last campaign despite starting 11 of those games from the bench.
Since he moved to the West London club in 2018, he has won the Europa League and Champions League as well as the FA Cup titles, but the forward is not satisfied with his bench-warming roles.

Sources close to the attacker reveal he wanted to leave for free in the summer but Chelsea decided to trigger the option to extend his contract by a year as reported by SunSport.

However, The Mail claims the Serie A giants will now pay a £1 million release clause to secure the 34-year-old's signature while the forward will earn around £3m annually at San Siro.
The publication further reports that both Giroud's representatives and AC Milan are putting finishing touches to the deal.
Meanwhile, the former Arsenal goal poacher is expected to travel to Italy to finalise the transfer next week while he reunited with fellow Blues' outcast Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The former Leicester man played an important role as the Blues claim their second Champions League title under Thomas Tuchel last season.
Kai Havertz scored the only goal that ensured the Blues rule Europe for the second time in their history after beating Manchester City 1-0 in the final of the competition.
