Cristiano Ronaldo praises Diogo Dalot

During the interview, Ronaldo said that young players nowadays don't care. He added that the emergence of technology has caused so many distractions, according to the Sun.

However, he said that Portugal and United right-back Diogo Dalot has the tools to play at the top level for many years.

“[Dalot is] young but very professional, but I don't doubt that he's going to have longevity in football because he's young. He's smart, intelligent and he's very professional. Probably Martinez, Casemiro is in his 30s, but I will say Dalot.”

The 23-year-old right-back moved to Old Trafford in 2018 from Porto and is currently the club's first-choice right-back after impressing under Erik ten Hag, according to ESPN.

Mourinho comments on Dalot

Sports Brief earlier reported on Jose Mourinho's prophetic remarks about Dalot, a player he signed for United when he was manager of the Red Devils.

Dalot has been one of the team's standout performers this season and remains an influential player for ten Hag.

Dalot was signed by Mourinho in 2018, but struggled to get minutes before going on loan to AC Milan.
