During the interview, Ronaldo was delighted that he achieved the shirt sales record and provided a great answer, according to the Sun.
"Of course, I am happy," he laughed. "As you know, I do not follow the records, the records follow me. Another one in my book."
Ronaldo's return to the club also broke several social media records. The Instagram post announcing his return became the most liked post by a sports team, garnering close to 13 million likes, according to Goal.
