Cristiano Ronaldo shocked many Manchester United fans when he made some telling remarks in an impassioned interview with controversial journalist Piers Morgan on Sunday night.
Ronaldo touched on plenty of pertinent issues at the club but also took issue with the club's hierarchy, including manager Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford has not been pleasant. Despite ending up as the club's top scorer last season with 24 goals, controversy has followed him in his second season.
A highly publicised falling out with the manager and requesting to leave the club ruffled some feathers among the fanbase, with many begging the club to terminate his contract, according to the Guardian.

Carragher dismisses Ronaldo
Liverpool legend and pundit Jamie Carragher hit out at Ronaldo for inconsistencies in his thought process this season. Ronaldo had some strong words towards Erik ten Hag in the eye-opening interview.
"I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you," according to the Mirror.
In a Tweet, the 2005 Champions League winner with Liverpool hit out at Ronaldo for contradicting himself. He threw his weight behind Erik ten Hag, slamming Ronaldo for how he handled the whole situation.
The Liverpool icon also added that most Man United fans would definitely support the manager. He also hit out at club legends Roy Keane, Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand for blindly supporting Ronaldo.
