Manchester United fans have taken to social media to slam Cristiano Ronaldo after an explosive interview with Piers Morgan where the Portuguese superstar went on an extraordinary rant.
Ronaldo took the internet by storm on Monday, November 14 after snippets of his ‘tell-all’ interview with TV personality Piers Morgan went viral.
In the interview, Ronaldo took aim at several elements at the club as he accused certain people of wanting him out of the club from last year.
According to Ronaldo, he felt betrayed by several people at Old Trafford.

“Not only the coach, but the other two or three guys around that are around the club. Honestly, I shouldn't say that, I don't know, but listen I don't care, I'm always... People should listen to the truth.” He said in the explosive conversation.
"Yes, I feel betrayed and I felt that some people don't want me here, not only here but last year too." Ronaldo had looked to leave over the summer, but ended up staying after a move failed to present itself.
The Portuguese superstar also boldly declared he has no respect for Erik ten Hag, because “he doesn’t show respect for me.”
Fan reaction
Soon after part of the interview was released, fans, presumably those affiliated to Manchester United, took to social media with a similar message: “Ronaldo must go”.

FootballRooney, a Manchester United legend, recently criticised Ronaldo's behaviour at Manchester United. Those comments seemingly angered Ronaldo.
But in a rejoinder, Ronaldo seemed to hint his former teammate was jealous of him.
"I don't know why he criticises me so badly. Probably because he finished his career and I'm still playing at a high level. I'm not going to say that I'm looking better than him. Which is true." Ronaldo said.
