Argentina’s final 26-man squad to the 2022 FIFA World Cup has been released by head coach Lionel Scaloni with Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi top of the list.
Scaloni who will hope to guide Argentina to their 3rd World Cup success in Qatar has selected a strong line-up comprising of three goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven attackers.
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, AS Roma’s Paulo Dybala, and Juventus winger Angel Di Maria have also been listed as part of Argentina’s squad for the World Cup despite the latter injury concerns.

Rodrigo De Paul, Enzo Fernandez, Lautaro Martinez, and Julian Alvarez have also made the final 26-man squad of Lionel Scaloni as Argentina bids for another major trophy in Qatar.
Argentina has been paired in Group C alongside Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Poland at the World Cup and will have their opening game against the Arab nation on November 22.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona forward Ansu Fati has been named in Spain’s 26-man squad for the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 20-year-old star has been given the chance to add to his four caps at international level in the Middle East country.
Fati is already a regular for the Catalan giants, where he has notched three goals in 20 appearances in all competitions this season.
