Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has urged Donny van de Beek to consider leaving Old Trafford.
The Dutch has endured a disastrous spell with the Red Devils since he joined them in the summer of 2020.
The former Ajax midfielder signed a five-year contract after his move to the Theatre of Dreams, with an option to extend for a further year.
While Van de Beek arrived at United on the back of a fine run of form with Ajax, his stint with the Premier League giants has now gone according to plan.
The 25-year-old has struggled to nail a starting place in the Red Devils team under three managers, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ralf Rangnick, and Erik ten Hag all overlooking him.
Van de Beek earned a rare start for United during their recent clash against Aston Villa, where they lost 3-1 at Villa Park.

However, he did not last the entire 90 minutes as he came under immense criticism from fans for his performance.
Evra wants Van de Beek to leave
Evra has now urged the Netherlands international to reconsider his future with the Red Devils.
According to the former French footballer, the midfielder should quit Old Trafford and ‘go somewhere he feels loved’.

Football"I remember early on when he (Van de Beek) first signed, I heard people comparing him to Paul Pogba. Come on, guys, let’s be honest, he had only just come to the Premier League," Evra told Betfair via Metro UK.
"My advice to him is that he needs to go somewhere where he feels loved. The problem in England, not just Manchester, is that people don’t respect him. He’s a very good player," he added.
