Japan name former Barca prodigy Kubo in World Cup squad
Football
Ahead of their first World Cup since 1958, Wales Head coach Rob Page has brought in some interesting names in his final 26-man squad.
The Wales squad consists of many veteran players for the country who have been devoid of game time so far this campaign.
Former Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale and ex Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey were typically named in the squad to apply their experience to help the nation go all the way in the global spectacle.

FootballAnother veteran, Joe Allen, was also named in the squad despite not playing competitive football since September.
Allen, a former Liverpool man, sustained a hamstring injury while playing in the clash involving Swansea City and Hull City on September 17.
Sheffield United’s Rhys Norrington-Davies will miss the tournament with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Tom Lockyer, who returns to international duty for the first time in more than a year.
