Senegal will resort to the help of witch doctors to speed up the recovery of talisman Sadio Mane for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Bayern Munich star was ruled out of the World Cup after picking up an injury during the Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen on Tuesday night.
However, General Secretary of FIFA, Fatma Samoura, who hails from Senegal has disclosed plans to involve witch doctors in the player's treatment.
“We are going to use witch doctors,” she said. “I don’t know (if they’re effective) but in this instance, we’re going to use them anyway. We are hoping for miracles. He has to be there!” she told Europe 1 as quoted by Get Football News France.

Mane's availability for the tournament remains a doubt and a huge blow for the African Champions.
Senegal have been drawn in Group A alongside host Qatar, Ecuador and the Netherlands.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Senegal have suffered a huge blow after their star player Sadio Mane is reportedly set to miss the upcoming FIFA World Cup with an injury.
Mane went off injured during Bayern Munich's game against Werder Bremen on November 8th. He was taken off after just 20 minutes, with Leroy Sane taking his place. Sadio Mane sits on the ground after getting injured against Werder Bremen.
French publication Lequipe has now reported that the Senegalese ace will most certainly miss the World Cup.
