Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar is not too happy about the physicality in the French Ligue 1 which has kept the Brazilian sidelined too many times through injuries.
The 30-year-old forward noted that the league’s physicality surprised him the most since he joined PSG from Spanish giants Barcelona in a world record deal back in 2017.
According to PSG Talks, Neymar has now revealed he tries to stay very concentrated in matches as a means of protecting himself from injuries due to the physical nature of the Ligue 1.

“I had no idea how strong and intense it was here. The only way to escape them is to be attentive, and concentrated so as not to suffer injuries that I have known in the past because of violent hits.”
The Brazilian forward also noted that he uses his dribbling skills as a coping mechanism against the harshness of the league, especially against players who try to injury him deliberately.
