Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi has explained that he and his teammates at Everton failed to make use of their chances, which masterminded their defeat against Leicester City.
On Saturday, November 5, Everton suffered an embarrassing home defeat in the Premier League against Leicester despite the likes of Iwobi and Anthony Gordon coming close to scoring.
Leicester City looked more determined in the encounter, as Brendan Rodgers and his wards are trying hard not to drop down into the relegation zone.
Youri Tielemans and Harvey Barnes scored the two goals that gave Leicester City the win over Everton.

According to the report on Complete Sports, Iwobi blamed himself and the team for all the chances they missed in the Premier League game.
Iwobi's reaction to Leicester loss
“One team took their chances and unfortunately, we didn’t. We had a lot of opportunities, but Leicester were the ones who were able to put it in the back of the net and we couldn’t."
Iwobi explained he had a chance in the first half but missed out. With Leicester City's second goal, he added, the Toffees were trying to push forward and ended up open for the counter.
"Another counter-attack and they’re able to score. I felt like it was a game that could have gone either way.''
