Former Premier Soccer League prosecutor Nande Becker has passed away after a long battle with cancer.
The news was revealed in a statement from the PSL's chief operating officer Ronnie Schloss.
According to the Daily Sun, Schloss said:
"It's a sad loss for players, clubs and everyone involved in the game. He played an important role in the Premier Soccer League for a couple of years. He had cancer and that became difficult for him. He was dedicated, fair to clubs and players."

Schloss added that it was a sad loss for soccer because of Becker's understanding of the rules and regulations governing the game.
"This is a huge loss to the league and football. Our heartfelt condolences to his family."
The league, in a separate statement, paid tribute to Becker and also sent its condolences to his family. He was a practicing attorney with more than 36 years of experience in the field.
In December 2021, Sport24 reported that Becker had resigned from his position, with no reasons being provided for this.
PSL prosecutor resigns amid controversies
Amid another gathering legal thunderstorm, veteran Premier Soccer League (PSL) prosecutor Nande Becker unexpectedly resigned from his position with immediate effect, as Sports Brief reported.
Becker had served in this role within the organisation since 2013, presiding over various legal furores which have become the mainstay of local club football.
