President Muhammadu Buhari will play host to the Flamingos in Abuja following their history-making outing at the just concluded FIFA U17 Women's World Cup.
Nigeria finished third at the tournament beating Germany via penalties in the third-place match to claim bronze.
Coach Bankole Olowookere’s girls played six matches at the competition in India, losing their first match to Germany and then to Colombia in the semi-final.
Nigeria almost reached the final, but somehow the final spot-kick against Colombia was lost, and then the South Americans won it to cruise to the final.

It was Africa's first-ever podium finish at the competition as Flamingos surpassed the quarter-final stage for the first time.
And President Buhari is prepared to host the girls at a later date, according to the NFF. A statement said via Sports Ration:
“The Presidency will host the team at a later date.”
Ahmed Musa splashes cash on Flamingos
Meanwhile, the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Ahmed Musa, has announced a reward of N3million to the Flamingos following their historic feat at the 2022 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup.
Against all odds, Flamingos finished third, defeating Germany in the third-place play-off to claim bronze on Sunday afternoon.
Having won bronze, Musa announced that the sum of N3million is waiting for the girls as soon as they arrive in Abuja.

German players join Flamingos in celebration
Sports Brief earlier reported that Nigeria's U17 women's football team, the Flamingos defeated Germany to win bronze at the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in India.
Shortly after the victory, the team celebrated in their hotel lobby as they danced to the rave-of-the-moment song Cough by Kizz Daniel.
And now the iconic dance from Cough was recreated in India by the history-making Flamingos, right after their win over Germany in third place play-off of the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup.
