Lionel Messi has once again earned plaudits after putting in a dominant performance in the month of October.
Messi responded to being snubbed from the Ballon d'Or award that Karim Benzema won by picking up the pace in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward leads a list of the team for the month of October compiled by statistics app, Sofascore. Messi has been handed an overall rating of 8.18 after scoring six goals despite missing two of PSG's games.
Erling Haaland has also been included as he continues with his fairytale debut season in England. The Norwegian striker currently has 17 goals in the Premier League. He scored 8 goals in all competitions in October.

Kepa's rebirth at Chelsea
Kepa Arrizabalaga's renaissance under Graham Potter has been a beautiful sight to see. The Spanish goalkeeper has wrestled Chelsea's number one spot from Edouard Mendy and ended up keeping 5 clean sheets.

Messi made his La Liga debut for Barcelona in 2004 as a teenager, but the Argentina captain has won 227 “Man of the Man” awards in just 520 appearances La Liga appearances.
