As reported by The Sun, Ronaldo recently encountered some fans who seemed a bit too excited to meet him.

The noise from the fans proved a bit overwhelming for Ronaldo, who decided to channel his 2012 self by asking them to calm down using his famous ‘Calma’ celebration motion.

In the clip that has since lit up social media, Ronaldo gave fans memories of his days as a Real Madrid player a decade ago, when he used to single-handedly terrorise Barcelona in El Clasico.

One of the most memorable wins in that fixture came in 2012, when he led his former team to an unforgettable 2-1 win.

As far as the game went, Sami Khedira opened the scoring for Real Madrid, before Barcelona found an equaliser through Alexis Sanchez.

Ronaldo then stole headlines after pouncing on a brilliant through ball from Mesut Ozil, to beat Victor Valdes with a classy finish.

In his celebration, Ronaldo rushed to the Barcelona fans waving his hands as if telling the crowd to 'calm down'.

South African cricket superstar copies Ronaldo’s new celebration

Sports Brief also earlier reported on how South African cricket player Wayne Parnell broke social media on October 30, after copying Ronaldo's celebration.

The 33-year-old celebrated the dismissal of dangerman Suryakumar Yadav in the Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup against India at Perth.

After India's top order was rattled by South Africa's pace attack, Yadav single-handedly powered ahead and made 68 from 40 deliveries, before being dismissed by Parnell.
