Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri pulled no punches as he gave a brutally honest assessment of the Paul Pogba situation after the Frenchman suffered yet another injury setback.
Fans affiliated to the French national team were left worried after it emerged Pogba would not be able to make the World Cup squad as he continues to battle a recurring knee injury.
The last time Pogba played a competitive game was in April 2022, and despite making the transfer back to Juventus, the situation with his injuries is yet to improve.
He picked up the injury in pre-season, and this has delayed his return to action in competitive matches.

As per The Mirror, Allegri was quizzed on the Pogba situation ahead of Juventus’ final Champions League group game, but the Italian was seemingly in no mood to discuss his star midfielder’s woes.
“It’s pointless repeating what has already been said, Allegri said when asked whether he had spoken to Pogba.
“Once the decision was made not to have surgery at the start of the season, it was normal that hopes that he could return with Juventus and France were slim. He’s sorry for Juventus and the World Cup, it’s normal, we were penalised for not having him available.”
Pogba was a crucial player for the France national team four years ago as Le Blues went on to win the tournament.

Pogba almost quit football because of witchcraft claims
Earlier, Sports Brief also reported on how Pogba considered quitting football after the damaging witchcraft accusations and subsequent extortion scandal against him.
