  • Marcus Rashford's current contract with Manchester United is set to expire at the end of the ongoing season
  • Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be among the top clubs eyeing the services of the English forward
  • However, the latest reports suggest the 25-year-old is prepared to snub a move to Parc des Princes and extend his stay with United
  • The development comes at a time Rashford is enjoying a fine run of form that has seen them score seven goals so far this season

Marcus Rashford has reportedly resolved to commit his future at Old Trafford despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Englishman has already entered the final months of his current contract with Manchester United, which is set to expire at the end of the ongoing season.

Whereas the Red Devils have the option to trigger a 12-month extension in his clause to keep him at the club until 2024, Rashford will be free to speak to potential suitors if that does not happen.

According to Metro UK, United prefer to open talks over a new long-term deal instead of triggering that extension.

Meanwhile, on his part, Rashford is understood to be keen to extend his stay at the Theatre of Dreams beyond the current season.

Daily Mail reports that the England international is ready to snub a move to PSG and sign a long-term deal with his boyhood club.

Rashford scores landmark goal

The development comes just days after the 25-year-old scored his 100th goal for the club during a 1-0 win against West Ham United on Sunday.

The landmark goal was enough to earn him a place among United's all-time top scorers, an exclusive club of players which includes Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rashford has already netted seven goals for the Red Devils this season after hitting top form under Erik ten Hag.

The forward endured a disastrous run of form last term, with injuries hampering his progress.

Rashford thanks Eriksen

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has thanked Christian Eriksen for assisting his 100th goal.

Eriksen whipped a sublime cross during United's game versus West Ham, with Rashford rising high to head home.

The goal earned the Red Devils maximum points at Old Trafford.
