Outspoken AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimović claims his absence in Ligue 1 has created a void in the French top flight, despite the presence of Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Ibrahimović spent four seasons with Paris Saint-Germain from 2012 and 2016, scoring a staggering 113 goals in 122 appearances.
His eccentric character, both on and off the field, ensured he hogged the headlines on a regular basis throughout his stint in France.
Speaking on the current state of the French league, the 41-year-old said that since his departure from France, the country no longer has anything to talk about.

"Since I left France, everything has gone downhill. There is nothing to talk about anymore in France,” he claimed as quoted by Get French Football News.
Zlatan continued, "France needs me, I don’t need France. Even if you have [Kylian] Mbappé, Neymar and [Lionel] Messi, it doesn’t help you because you don’t have 'God'.”
