Inaki Williams and Nico Williams have challenged themselves into who will finish the season as Athletic Bilbao's top scorer.

The Spanish-Ghanaian brothers are enjoying a good start to the season with the eldest scoring four goals already while Nico has three for himself.

Inaki, who has chosen to represent Ghana at international level revealed that he and Nico has entered a wager over who will be the best this season.

“We have a small bet that we left between us, but if my brother gets that bet, he will have a nice gift," he told DAZN as quoted by Marca.

Inaki's position in the Black Stars team seems secured and he is likely to lead Ghana's attack at the World Cup, but Nico is fighting for a place in the Spain national team.

Nico earned his first call up during September's international break and made his debut against Switzerland.

The 20-year-old has also been named in Luis Enrique's 55-man preliminary squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.

"I hope I can go to the World Cup, with work I think that in the end the results will be given,” said Nico.

“I don't know if I'm going to go, but with work I think that in the end the results will come and hopefully I can go. I am going step by step," he added.
