Bayern Munich will have to navigate this weekend’s Bundesliga game against Mainz without veteran forward Thomas Muller who has been ruled out through injury.
The 33-year-old who was one of Bayern’s standout players in the Champions League victory against Barcelona in midweek will not be available for selection this weekend.
According to Bulinews, Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann confirmed Muller has been sidelined with a hip and pelvic injury.

"Muller has some irritation in his hip and pelvis again. He won't be able to play tomorrow and is looking doubtful for Tuesday as well. We will likely need to rest him for a week, in order to give him a break."
Muller has struggled for consistency as the 33-year-old has managed just two Bundesliga goals this season owing to his recurring problems.
Manuel Neuer still out injured
Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer has failed to recover in time for Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga game against Mainz this weekend, SB Nation reports.
The German goalkeeper has been out with a shoulder injury and suffered a relapse just ten minutes after commencing individual training and will now be out for another few weeks.
Neuer has been sidelined for close to three weeks since picking up the shoulder in the Bundesliga home draw against arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund.
