Ahmed Musa Promises Nigeria’s U23 Team N500K per Goal To Beat Tough Opponents

• The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, and a goalless draw is actually what the Nigerian Under-23 side need on Saturday

Ahmed Musa who is the captain of the Super Eagles has promised the Nigeria's Under-23 team N500K per goal in their match against Tanzania which will be played on Saturday, 29 October.

Nigeria and Tanzania are slogging it out in the second round and 2nd leg of an U23 AFCON qualifier which will be played at the Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo state.

In the first leg played last week in Dar es Salaam, it ended 1-1, and the Nigerian side will be needing a goalless draw for them to qualify for the next round.

According to the information Nigerian reporter Adepoju Tobi released on Twitter, he claimed that Musa has spoken with the boys to score as many goals they can against Tanzania.

The former Leicester City player is known to be a motivator and philanthropist going by all his records.

Speaking to Sports Brief on the latest development, defender Chris Nwaeze, explained that he and his teammates are happy with the tonic boost from Musa.
