Alejandro Garnacho received a congratulatory gesture from Cristiano Ronaldo after putting in a marvellous display in the Europa League.
Manchester United Head Coach Erik ten Hag put the teenager in his starting XI against Sheriff Tiraspol at Old Trafford. Garnacho was deployed on the left-hand side of United's attack.
He was one of the best performers for the Red Devils, with his skills a constant menace for Sheriff's backline. It was his first senior debut and he made a good account of himself.
The Argentinian walked off the pitch to a standing ovation from Old Trafford faithful in the 79th minute when Donny van de Beek replaced him.

At full-time, as MEN reports, Ronaldo hugged him and seemingly shared a few words of encouragement. Garnacho has in the past mentioned that Ronaldo is his football idol.
The 18-year-old will now be pushing for more minutes under ten Hag, especially with Jadon Sancho's dwindling fortunes. He will be hoping to feature against West Ham United on Sunday.
