Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi has returned to Leicester City training, as the Foxes prepare for their clash against Manchester City on Saturday, October 29.

The defensive midfielder had missed four games due to injury, but he was seen back in at the club’s Seagrave training ground.

Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury and was out of action for a major part of October, as Brendan Rodgers also did not want to risk playing him against Wolverhampton.

The 25-year-old was pictured alongside his teammates during their training session, as posted on Wednesday morning on the club’s official social media accounts.

Ndidi a boost for Nigeria

Ndidi’s return will also be a big boost for Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro, who is preparing his side for the friendly matches against Costa Rica and Portugal next month.

The three-time African champions will face Los Ticos in a send-forth game in San Jose on November 10, before taking on Portugal in Lisbon a week later.
