Simeone Junior equals Simeone Senior
On Wednesday, October 26, during Napoli's Champions League encounter with Rangers, Simeone scored twice for Luciano Spalletti's side.
His two goals took his tally in Europe to four goals and in the process, equalled his father's record to become the second Argentinian to score four goals in their first four Champions League matches, according to Football Italia.
Simeone Senior did it in only two games for Atletico Madrid in September 1996, scoring twice against both Steaua Bucharest and Widzew Lodz.
This means that the Simeone family are only the second father-son duo to score a Champions League brace. Juventus forward Federico Chiesa and his dad Enrico Chiesa have also achieved this feat.
