Ethiopian steward Matteo Lo Cicero has explained that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen immediately offered to help him out after being suspended by those in charge at Roma.
Cicero's dream of meeting his idol Osimhen was fulfilled last Sunday after the Italian Serie A game between AS Roma and Napoli in which the Nigerian scored the winner for his side.
The 18-year-old Ethiopian was working as a matchday steward for Roma and rushed to meet Victor Osimhen after the game and took selfies with the Nigerian star.
It was Nigerian sports journalist, Oma Akatugba, who actually took Cicero to meet Osimhen and they both had friendly conversation.

According to the report on Serieanews, Cicero explained that he was actually suspended while still discussing with Osimhen.
He added that Osimhen was not happy with the situation and offered to do something good as soon as possible.
Cicero's statement on meeting Osimhen
''Victor told Oma to write to me, he added that he would take care of the situation and not to worry ”.
“It struck me a lot, this situation made me realize how much a person with an immense heart really is. He has an incredible, immense humility. He could not care, I was just a simple fan. He insisted on letting me stay with him, he worried if I was losing my job.''
Osimhen reaches out to Nigerian kid
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Victor Osimhen reached out to a Nigerian child named Christian, who is currently suffering from bone marrow disease and is on admission to hospital in Italy.

FootballOsimhen, who is the man of the moment in the Serie A, made a video call with Christian and his family and offered a message of support for his fellow countryman.
Osimhen was seen urging Christian to be strong as he prayed for quick healing for the young boy.
Seeing Osimhen on the video call, Christian was emotional and brought to tears as he thanked the Napoli striker for reaching out to him.
