Former Nigerian international Efe Ambrose will now play in the Scottish Championship, having joined Greenock Morton.
The club announced signing the 34-year-old on their website, and he will wear the No.12 shirt for the side until the end of the season.
Ambrose, who had 51 caps for the Nigerian senior national football team and scored 4 goals between 2008 and 2016, is not new to Scottish football.
He spent six years with top club Celtic, winning the league four times before moving to rival club Hibernian on loan.

As he officially joins Greenock Morton, the club wrote via Glasgow Times:
“Greenock Morton are delighted to announce the signing of Efe Ambrose on a deal until the end of the season."
“Efe joins the team as a highly experienced defender playing almost 200 games in the Scottish Premiership, where he won the league with Celtic on 4 occasions and [made] just over 50 appearances for his national team, where he was part of the Nigeria side that lifted the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013."
“Efe will wear the number 12 shirt with his kits now available to sponsor.”
Ambrose, 34, last featured for second-tier side Dunfermline Athletic whom he joined in February 2022 on loan until the end of the 2021–22 season.

FootballMeanwhile, Ambrose’s former teammate Mikel Obi, who recently retired from professional football, says he is not done with sports.
Obi announced his retirement in September, stating he is very satisfied with what he achieved during the course of his remarkable career, as Sports Brief reported.
He noted that 'good things must come to an end', but added that he still wants to be involved in sports in some capacity.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Mikel Obi was delighted to reunite with his former captain at Chelsea, John Terry.
The pair were pictured together at a holiday resort as they grinned to the camera - in a selfie taken by the former England international.
While Obi spent 11 years with Premier League club Chelsea, having joined in 2006 before leaving in 2017, Terry spent most years of his career at the London club.
