Speaking after the comprehensive victory, Christophe Galtier was delighted with his team's performance, with specific praise going to his attacking trio.
"We played fantastic football. There was a lot of connection between the lines, especially between the midfield and our three strikers who were fabulous," he said as quoted by Get French Football News.
Galtier commented on the 'great connection' between Messi, Mbappe and Neymar, adding that when everyone played for the team, it gave a good image. He also mentioned a system complementing their styles and allowing the attacking trio to express themselves more freely.
"Their technical quality and their relationship in small spaces, as well as the fact that they defend more densely, allow us to have more rapid transitions. When one of the three goes off with the ball, it just plays for each other and it’s obviously very nice to see."
