Kenneth Nwamuocha, who is the chairman of the Delta State Football Association, has donated the sum of N100,000 cash to former Super Eagles star Henry Nwosu for medical treatment.
This comes days after the 59-year-old cried out to Nigerians that he has been battling with sickness for the past few weeks, and he is broke after his medical treatment.
Nwosu, who played 60 games for the Super Eagles, is based in Asaba - the capital of Delta State.
According to the press statement Delta State FA Secretary, Azuka Ogosi shared on WhatsApp groups, the football chiefs were seen giving the cash to Nwosu at his home.

What is wrong with Nwosu?
The former Nigeria international is currently down after a stroke and will need serious medical treatment for him to survive.
Nwosu, who won the African Nations Cup with Nigeria in 1980, claimed that he had spent all his savings on treatment as he urged Nigerians to help him.
He played for Nigeria’s senior national team for 11 years and was also part of the Green Eagles at AFCON in 1982, 1984 and 1988.
Sylvester Igboun dumps foreign club
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigeria international Sylvester Igboun, who recently joined Indian side NorthEast United, dumped the club barely a month after signing his contract.
It is believed the 6-cap Super Eagles striker left the club due to poor accommodation, which he had complained about to the team's authorities on several occasions.
