  • Jamie Vardy is finally up and running for the season after he scored a late goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers
  • Vardy's actions before coming on to the pitch have excited fans online after he was seen sipping a Red Bull energy drink
  • He then trolled Wolves fans with a savage celebration as Leicester strolled to a comfortable 4-0 victory

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy finally scored his first goal of the season and did so in remarkable fashion.

The veteran striker has struggled upfront for goals this season, compounded with a sluggish start for Leicester City.

But against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Englishman got off the mark in the 80th minute to extend Leicester City's lead to four goals. He finished off Timothy Castagne's cross.

Fans caught Vardy's actions just before head coach Brendan Rodgers brought him on in the 60th minute. Before replacing Patson Daka, Vardy was seen drinking a can of Red Bull, a well-known energy drink brand.

The drink worked wonders, with Vardy scoring 10 minutes after coming in. He then unleashed a celebration that appeared to troll Wolves fans at the Molineux stadium.

The 35-year-old howled at the Wolves fans, then made a gesture to tell them that they stunk as he raced to the corner flag.

His goal was also a milestone of a kind after he became the first player to score 100 Premier League goals after turning 30 goals.

Reece James trolled Wilfried Zaha

Sports Brief had previously reported that Chelsea defender Reece James appeared to send a subtle dig at Crystal Palace's winger Wilfried Zaha following his side's victory on Saturday, October 1st.

Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 2-1, with Connor Gallagher scoring right at the death against his former side. Odsonne Edouard had opened the scoring against the run of play to shock Graham Potter's side.

Veteran defender Thiago Silva was lucky to escape a straight red card for denial of a goal-scoring opportunity. However, prior to the match, one of the pre-match analyses centred around two in-form players going head-to-head against each other.
