The Los Blancos were in front once again thanks to substitute Lucas Vazquez in the 79th minute.
Two minutes later, Valverde then smashed an unstoppable right-footed shot into the top corner from just outside the penalty area to make it 3-1.
The 24-year-old, who has scored in three straight games, delivered a pile driver from 25 yards out and unleashed a rocket that nestled in the top corner.

Meanwhile, Karim Benzema presented the Ballon d'Or to the Santiago Bernabéu crowd prior to kick-off in Saturday's game against Sevilla.
The Frenchman posed with his award out on the pitch alongside the rest of the starting eleven in the LaLiga match 11 encounter.
In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the Ballon d'Or was presented to the 34-year-old by former winners Zinedine Zidane and Luka Modric.
