Unusually, Mamelodi Sundowns will play a home match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Bafana Ba Style will host Orlando Pirates in the second leg of the MTN8 semi-final on Saturday. The tie is balanced on a knife edge, as both sides drew 0-0 in the first leg in Soweto at the start of the month.
Sundowns usually plays their home matches at either Loftus Versfeld or the Lucas Moripe Stadium, depending on the magnitude of the fixture. Now, team co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi has given insight into why.

“We are a growing brand - we must acknowledge and appreciate that. As a team, we are trying to conquer as much space as possible within the country, and Polokwane has also proven to be very good for us, in many assignments that we’ve had in that space."
“I think it is a very good choice and one that was also guided by the quality of the pitch, and Sundowns wants to play in a very good pitch. At this stage, I don’t think there’s any other pitch better than that one."
Meanwhile, Mngqithi addressed the uncertainty surrounding Peter Shalulile's possible exclusion from the match.
According to reports, the lethal Namibian is injured, but Mngqithi told The Citizen that he had been rested and could feature against the team he regularly punishes.
