Pennant mocks Arsenal's EPL hopes
However, Pennant, who played for Arsenal between 1999 and 2005, contends his former side's EPL title hopes will crumble.
According to the 39-year-old, reality will set in for Arsenal after Christmas, predicting that they could miss out on the top four altogether.
"I think that Arsenal, after Christmas, will cookie crumble like they did the year before to drop out of the Champions League spots. I'm gonna get criticised and battered by Arsenal fans being an ex-Gooner," Pennant told TalkSport.
