FootballManchester United Fans Single Out One Player That Needs Improving Despite Win Over Tottenham
- Marcus Rashford missed a glorious chance for Manchester United in the first half against Tottenham
- That mattered little as the Red Devils claimed a famous 2-0 win over the North London club
- However, Man United fans feel Rashford needs to sharpen up on his finishing skills
Manchester United fans all made the same assessment of Marcus Rashford during the 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, October 19.
The 24-year-old was brought into the Manchester United starting XI to face Spurs at the expense of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Rashford exhibited some sharpness with his movement but was guilty of fairly tame finishing, as his 21st-minute shot was too close to Hugo Lloris when he was played through by Fred.
He had another chance in the second half, but Lloris was once again on hand to keep him out with brilliant goalkeeping.

Daily Star reports that after the game, fans all drew the same conclusion. They claimed the striker was not sharp enough when it mattered.
“The best thing Ronaldo can do for Manchester United in the short time he has remaining here is teach Rashford how to score headers,” one fan commented.
“Our attackers need to work on their shooting accuracy especially Rashford he should learn how to use in step more,” read another fan response.
Other fans felt Rashford needed to start taking lessons from Benni McCarthy, a former Blackburn and West Ham front man who joined United as one of Erik ten Hag's first-team coaches.
Rashford has had heavy involvement under ten Hag this season, especially with Anthony Martial’s injury struggles.
So far, he has five goals and three assists across all competitions.
