Barcelona defender Gerard Pique could be forced to wear a kit with Shakira's name on it during a Barcelona game.
Reports in Spain indicate that Shakira could be the next in line to benefit from Barcelona’s sponsorship with the music streaming platform, Spotify.
The Camp Nou outfit rocked the OVO owl logo on the front of their jersey for the crucial top-of-the-table game against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu last Sunday.
OVO is a clothing brand owned by R&B idol Drake, after he recently made history by becoming the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify.

Per reports filed by journalist Moises Llorens, cited by Tribuna, a contract is close to being signed which will see Shakira feature on the Barcelona shirt.
The Barcelona-based journalist's report has since been echoed by a number of Spanish and South American news outlets.
However, the LaLiga giants and Shakira are yet to pass comment on the potential deal.
Pique and the popular singer announced their split in June 2020 after the 35-year-old Spanish defender was caught cheating on the pop singer.
The former lovers dated for 11 years and produced two boys.
