Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Elma Aveiro has taken issue with Manchester United Head Coach Erik ten Hag's explanations.
Ten Hag saw it fit to explain why he took Ronaldo off during their Premier League clash against Newcastle on October 16th at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo was visibly upset with the decision as he walked to the bench to be replaced by Marcus Rashford at the 70th-minute mark. The game had been poised at 0-0 and Ronaldo's substitution did not go down well with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner family.

Ronaldo remains a frustrated figure under ten Hag after reportedly trying to force a move out of the club earlier in the summer. He has been left on the bench in Premier League games, only starting the Europa League, a competition that it is believed he wanted to avoid completely in the first place.
Cristiano Ronaldo: Fans rave as Man United star becomes first player to hit the 700-goal mark
FootballSports Brief had earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo cut a dejected figure after he was subbed off in the second half of Man United's Premier League clash with Newcastle at Old Trafford.
The veteran striker was handed a rare Premier League start during the encounter as Erik ten Hag named him in the starting XI. However, the Portuguese, who recently became the first player in history to score 700 club goals made little impact during the Sunday, October 16, encounter.
With the hosts in dire need of a goal, Ten Hag was forced to make a tactical change deep in the second half.
