Neymar Jr has denied any wrongdoing or knowledge of wrongdoing, during his appearance in a Barcelona court earlier today.
The Brazilian superstar appeared on charges of fraud and corruption over his 2013 transfer from Santos to Barcelona.
Neymar, alongside eight others, were charged after Brazilian investment firm DIS alleged that his move to Barca was undervalued. They also claimed that they received a smaller compensation from Neymar’s sale because part of the transfer fee was concealed.
They accused the Brazilian star and his co-accused of trying to hide the transfer's real amount so they could avoid paying a higher commission.

What did Neymar say?
The Paris Saint-Germain star claimed that he knew little about the negotiations. Neymar - testifying for the first time - claimed that his father handled the contracts, Marca reported. Neymar Sr, the PSG star’s father, is also his agent.
"My father handles everything. I wasn't involved in the negotiations. I only sign what he tells me to sign," Neymar told the court.
Neymar's mother also claimed to have no knowledge of negotiations between Santos and Barcelona.
Other clubs also wanted him
He added that he had heard rumours about other clubs wanting to sign him but said his heart was set on Barcelona ever since he was a child. Earlier in the day’s proceedings, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez also gave evidence.
