Okocha's statement about African teams

“It’s the first time I’m not confident about Africa’s chances in the World Cup. If you look at Asia and North America, they seem stronger and more advanced than us," he was quoted as per the report.
"We were already 50 paces behind South America and Europe, and now North America and Asia seem to be ahead of us," he added.

United, Arsenal, Bayern want Osimhen

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian super striker Victor Osimhen could be leaving Italian Serie A side Napoli in the January transfer window, as Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested in him.

Osimhen has been able to win the hearts of Napoli fans, thanks to his brilliant performances since he moved to Italy from French side Lille.

Management of Napoli were impressed with his goal-scoring form at Lille, which made them pay a mega amount to sign the Super Eagles striker.

Despite being troubled by injury last season and missing some games, Osimhen was still able to score 14 goals for the Italian side.
