Los Blancos triumphed 3-1 against their arch-rivals in front of their supporters at Santiago Bernabeu, with Modric playing a key role in the victory.
In a video that has since gone viral on the internet, Modric was seen in Real Madrid’s dressing room after the victory, hugging his teammates and manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Sunday's win, which came after goals from Fede Valverde, Karim Benzema and Rodrygo, sent Real Madrid three points clear of their rivals Barca at the top of La Liga.

The result against Barcelona maintains Carlo Ancelotti's team's strong start to the season, as they have yet to lose in any competition and have only drawn twice.
