Nigerian music 'rave of the moment' Kizz Daniel will be proud of the Flamingos, following the celebration after their third goal against New Zealand at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
The Flamingos bounced back from their 2-1 loss to Germany in the opening game of the tournament in India, by thrashing New Zealand 4-0 in their second group game.
Amina Omowunmi Bello opened the scoring for the West African nation in the 17th minute, allowing her side to settle in the game.
Nigeria continued to dominate proceedings and almost got their second goal three minutes later, but Taiwo's effort from the free kick spot went into the arms of goalkeeper Aimee Feinberg-Danieli.

Miracle Usani doubled the lead for the Flamingos however, as she got her second of the tournament for Nigeria in style.
The celebrations that accompanied the third goal by Afolabi Taiwo generated talking points, before Edidiong Etim wrapped it up with another goal in the 90th minute to make it 4-0.
In celebration of the third goal by Taiwo, the Nigerian girls were quick to showcase the dance of the trending song 'Cough' by Kizz Daniel.

Sports Brief reports that Nigeria's Under-17 team, known as the Flamingos, kicked off their campaign at the 2022 World Cup in India on a losing note by being beaten 2-1 by Germany on October 11.
The Flamingos went into that encounter with boosted morale following the presence of the new NFF president Ibrahim Gusau.
However, they allowed the Europeans to come from a goal down to win the tie 2-1.
