Barcelona has revealed the club will be wearing a special kit for this weekend’s El Clasico against arch-rivals Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu.
The Catalans’ jersey will feature the owl logo of Canadian rapper Drake’s OVO record label, which will replace shirt sponsors Spotify for the crucial top-of-the-table game against Los Blancos.
According to Sport Bible, Barcelona disclosed via their website that they hope to connect with new audiences around the world, as they reveal further collaborations with other artists likely to happen later on in the season.
“One of the main ideas behind the alliance between FC Barcelona and Spotify is to bring football and music together, in order to connect with new audiences around the world.”

Meanwhile, Canadian rapper Drake has reacted happily to news that Barcelona will wear his OVO record label logo on their jersey in El Clasico against Real Madrid on Sunday.

Barcelona gets El Clasico boost
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona could have Franck Kessie available for this weekend’s El Clasico against Real Madrid following the midfielder's fast recovery from a muscle strain.
The 25-year-old picked up the injury in Barcelona’s surprise 1-0 loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League and was expected to be sidelined for up to two weeks.
Kessie has returned to the Barcelona squad, one week prior to his scheduled date, and is now in line to feature for the Catalans against Real Madrid.
