FootballBernardo Silva Hilariously Caught Trying to Hide from Fan in Public
- Interesting footage of Bernardo Silva trying to stay invisible to a curious fan in public has caught the eye of social media users
- In the video, the Man City star tries his best to hide his face from a fan who calls him by his name
- He eventually looks up and ends up taking photos with the fan, but the moment was certainly awkward
Bernardo Silva was caught in one of the most awkward exchanges with a fan on the street recently.
The winger is one of the most talented players in the Premier League, and has been an integral part of Pep Guardiola’s success since moving to the club from Monaco for £43.5 million in 2017.
In total, Silva has won four Premier Leagues, League cups and one FA Cup during his time in Manchester, and many could argue Man City would not be where they are without him.
Because of his superstar status, it is practically impossible for a player like Silva to remain invisible to the public.

This was evident from a video by one fan on Twitter, who shared an interesting, yet cringey exchange with City’s number 20.
In the video, the man approaches the winger, who is dressed in navy blue pants, a T-shirt and a jacket.
The fan calls out Silva by his name and the winger initially plays it down and covers his face using his hand and a wall.
He eventually realizes he is being filmed and reveals his face, and he is quick to try to diffuse the awkwardness by asking the man behind the camera 'What are you doing, my friend?'
The whole incident is as awkward as the photos that followed. Silva however, albeit quite reluctantly, agreed to pose with his 'stalker' for the day.

Guardiola promptly accepted the request but was still bemused nonetheless.
The incident took place prior to Man City’s game against Copenhagen, and the clash ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
